It has been many years since we have gone to Temple Square during Christmas with our children. So we decided to make a mini vacation out of it. We went and saw the lights and went to the visitors centers. As always, it was spectacular.
I loved taking this time to reflect on the real meaning of Christmas and the meaning of our lives.
I am so grateful for my Savior, for the miracle of His birth. For the example and teachings of his life. And for his sacrifice for each of us. And that He lives again.
We stayed at a hotel, where we swam and could watch cable TV! (Big deal for our kids who think they are so left out without cable tv!)
And we also went bowling. The three younger kids had never been bowling. Our poor deprived children! (said with sarcasm :) ).
And searched everywhere for this guy, without waiting in a 2 hour line! Finally...we found him and ONLY had a 1 hour line (also said with sarcasm).
It was a fun weekend with our family.
